The Indian Puzzle Championship (IPC) 2016 will be held on 17th July, 2016 in Chennai.
The championship will be held as an offline event (after four years of having it online), where the top-50 qualifiers of Puzzle Ramayan are being invited. Prasanna is undoubtedly the best puzzle solver in India today, and has been last 3yrs. Well, I'm the reigning national champion but thats another story altogether.

Last 2yrs has been close competition with Amit beating me in 2014 and I beating him in 2015. Looking forward to another round of interesting competition this year and hoping I can defend my title. Prasanna again has a wild card for the national team, being the top Indian at the World Championships last year, and will be organizing the national event.
The online rounds were fairly smooth for me, and I'm pretty confident of making it to the team this year too. Swaroop has sealed his place in the team with the abroad-player rule, so its going to be the top-2 of IPC who will join Prasanna and him. Amit has generally been consistent and there are some players who have made substantial improvement, like Ashish, Kishore and Devarajan.
