It’s about time we get introduced to wearable tech that’s actually wearable. Los Angeles-based Zungle, a young tech startup, was fed-up with sorry attempts by larger companies to produce stylish and functional wearable tech. In response, they developed the Panther, a pair of sunglasses that also acts a pair of bone conduction headphones.The Panther has everything you'd expect from a pair of wireless headphones. There's Bluetooth audio playback, hands-free calling with a built-in mic and audio controls by way of a jog dial. With the bone-conduction technology, crystal-clear audio is transmitted directly into your eardrums while also allowing you to maintain awareness of your surroundings.
The battery is recharged through a hidden microUSB charging port in the hinge area. The frames come in five different colors and are able to swap out lenses which also come in multiple colors for a little bit of personalization.
The Zungle Panther has already raised more than triple of its original $50K funding goal on Kickstarter and still has 25 days to go in its funding campaign. The Zungle Panthers will retail for $150 but you can still sign up for a $99 Early Bird pack which includes a pair of Zungle panthers in matte black, white, gray, pink or green. They will ship in November 2016.
